The new building was designed by m. architects and consists of a warehouse with 17 docks and an office of 2,649 m². In addition, a parking garage of four layers with space for 163 cars and a bicycle storage will be realized. VB Vastgoed Management will provide the construction management. The completion is scheduled for June 2021.

BREEAM Excellent

Nippon Express has a BREEAM Excellent sustainability ambition for the new building. The building will therefore be energy-neutral (Energy Performance 0.00) and heated by means of a heat pump (gasless). Other measures include the use of large glass surfaces, allowing a high incidence of daylight in the office. A good climate system also ensures a high degree of thermal indoor comfort in summer and winter. In addition, high-quality LED lighting and lighting values are used both inside and outside the building.
