Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been at the heart of our business operations for many years. Not only do we want to be a good employer, we also want to make a positive contribution to local society and the environment.
Building is people’s work. That’s why the health of our employees comes first at Hercuton. That’s why we organise, among other things, the vitality programme “Moving Together”. The aim of this programme is to improve your health together with colleagues and also to raise money for a good cause.
Hercuton makes a contribution to society in the form of sponsorship. For example, we are one of the main sponsors of De Jonge Renner, a cycling association in the region. This training club Van Uitert-De Jonge Renner guides young cyclists to their personal best. We also sponsor various local sports clubs and associations.
With us, sustainable means not only sustainable building, but also sustainable working. As a customer, you can see this throughout the entire construction process. We use as many sustainable materials as possible and ensure correct waste separation at the construction sites.
Hercuton has various certificates that underline our CSR policy. For example, we have the VCA and ISO 14001 certificate. Hercuton is also FSC and PEFC certified. This means that we use wood and wood products with the FSC or PEFC label in our business operations. In addition, we are an Approved Learning Company and employ various BREEAM specialists.
