Turn-key new distribution center
On business park De Wildeman in Zaltbommel, Hercuton has realized a distribution center of approximately 27.500 m² for the European branch of an international investor. The new building is situated next to the new DHL building, the largest gasless (all-electric) sorting center in the Benelux, also a turn-key realization of Hercuton.
Collaboration
The development “DC Miles Zaltbommel” came about in cooperation with Over Engh Vastgoed BV.. Jones Lang Lasalle and M² Real Estate are involved in the project on behalf of the investor.
Renting in whole or in part
The new, modern distribution center has a surface area of 27.477 m². The building consists of a warehouse, mezzanine and office space. The building is suitable for e-commerce-related logistics with a large throughput of orders. The building is equipped with solar panels on the roof and has the sustainability ambition BREEAM-NL “Good”.
Turn-key
This is a turn-key project for Hercuton, which also provided the design. The building is divided into two parts, equipped with office spaces, and can be fully or partially rented as desired. The entire permit process was reviewed by Seconed through Technical Inspection Services (TIS).
The location
Business park de Wildeman in Zaltbommel is located right in the heart of the Netherlands, on the A2, just outside the center of the historic town of Zaltbommel. It is a sustainable, safe and centrally located business park. De Wildeman offers the attractive combination of a sustainable structure in a green environment, excellent accessibility – it is no coincidence that it is part of the Logistic Hotspot Rivierenland – and intensive cooperation in the field of security between the entrepreneurs who are located there, the municipality of Zaltbommel and supporting services such as the police and fire department.
The distribution center was delivered turnkey in March 2020.
