Sixth new building for Inter-Sprint
Hercuton has built several business premises for Beheermaatschappij Inter-Sprint BV. This project was the sixth building we built on behalf of Inter-Sprint and by the time it was completed, Hercuton had already built a total of 100.000 m² for Inter-Sprint.
This storage and distribution hall for car tires is in Moerdijk and has a surface area of 26.106 m². It is a concrete building with both the structure, the walls and the roof in precast concrete. At the loading dock area the building has a high-rise construction of wooden trusses with steel roofing sheets. This construction lends itself best to achieving the desired height, in combination with a column-free zone. The entire building is equipped with a sprinkler system.
Inter-Sprint now knows from their own experience the many advantages of precast concrete and our conceptual working method. They are very enthusiastic about the solid appearance, the fire resistant properties, the high construction speed and the durability. The design is by VDM Architects from Schiedam. They also took care of the construction supervision.
Inter-Sprint Banden B.V. is Europe’s largest import and export company of car and truck tires. The company has an impressive stock of tires under its care. These are stored in various buildings realized by Hercuton.
