New distribution center
Commissioned by WDP, Hercuton has realized a distribution center of approximately 20.000 m² turnkey on Bedrijvenpark Hoeksche Waard in Heinenoord. The new building is intended for NewCorp Logistics, among others.
For this development WDP has purchased a 30,000 m² lot on Bedrijvenpark Hoeksche Waard. The development consists of an industrial hall with mezzanine including VAL space, office spaces and outdoor area. The new distribution center with modern facilities will be used as storage and handling area for excisable goods and food products. The design is by Hercuton.
Over the years Hercuton has proven to be a reliable and specialist party for projects of this scale. They have been closely involved in this new building since the preliminary stages. The hybrid building is built from a steel structure with sandwich panels and is surrounded by a concrete plinth. There are 21 docks. Remarkable is the fact that the distribution center is located in the middle with office spaces on both sides.
