Sixth new building for Inter-Sprint
Hercuton has built several business premises for Beheermaatschappij Inter-Sprint BV. This project was the sixth building commissioned by Inter-Sprint and when it was delivered, Hercuton had already built a total of 100,000 m² for Inter-Sprint.
This storage and distribution hall for car tyres is located in Moerdijk and has a surface area of 26,106 m². It is a concrete building in which both the construction, the walls and the roof are constructed in prefabricated concrete. At the loading docks, the building is executed in a high-rise construction of wooden trusses with steel roof plates. This construction lends itself best to achieving the desired height, in combination with a column-free zone. The entire building is equipped with a sprinkler system.
100.000 m²
Inter-Sprint now knows from its own experience what the many advantages of prefab concrete and our concept-based working method are. They are very pleased with the solid appearance, the fire resistant properties, the high construction speed and the durability. The design comes from VDM Architects in Schiedam. They also took care of the construction supervision.
