Turn-key distribution centre
A distribution centre of approx. 27,500 m² is currently being built on the De Wildeman industrial estate in Zaltbommel. Hercuton is constructing the building for the European branch of a world-class international investor. The new building is located next to the new DHL building, the largest gas-free (all-electric) sorting centre in the Benelux, also a turn-key realization of Hercuton.
The development “DC Miles Zaltbommel” has been realized in cooperation with Over Engh Vastgoed BV. Jones Lang Lasalle and M² Real Estate are in negotiations with various potential tenants on behalf of the investor.
Renting in whole or in part
The new, modern distribution centre has a surface area of 27,477 m². The building consists of a commercial space, mezzanine and office space. The building is, among other things, suitable for e-commerce related logistics with a large throughput of orders. The building will be equipped with solar panels on the roof and has the sustainability ambition BREEAM-NL “Good”.
It’s a turn-key project for Hercuton, who also designed it. The building is divided into two parts, equipped with offices and can be rented in whole or in part as desired. The entire permit process has been tested by Seconed through Technical Inspection Services (TIS).
De Wildeman business park in Zaltbommel is located just below the middle of the Netherlands, on the A2 motorway, just outside the centre of the historic city of Zaltbommel. It’s a sustainable, safe and centrally located business park. De Wildeman offers the attractive combination of a sustainable structure in a green environment, excellent accessibility and is part of the Logistic Hotspot Rivierenland. There is an intensive cooperation in the field of safety between the entrepreneurs based there, the municipality of Zaltbommel and support services such as police and fire brigade.
The distribution centre will be delivered turn-key in June 2020.
